This could actually be good for the game, since it counteracts the power creep from twin blades, by doing the same exact thing it did to like every other deck lol
Or it just forces everyone to play the main character decks. They're updating murakumo and AF in the same set, but it's clear that their power level would have only been relevant before they revealed that everything else was getting a cross ride. Now it's insulting that they'd put that level of card alongside 6 or 7 something crossrides. It's pretty clear to me that bushi is just cashing in right now and they're gonna have to really work to prove that they care about keeping every clan viable for their players.
I don't like this. It makes all old strategies useless for clans with a crossride, and crossride are even more auto pilot then the game already is. Game will now be a bunch of 11k G2's so you can hit 18k on rear. Seems less fun then it is now. But maybe I am jumping to a early conclusion....
If you think this game is autopilot then its sad, real fights i saw are about remembering every opponents card and counting each of your moves precisely because if you do a mistake you will lose...
Well at least thats how we play the game here (yes i know characteristic of crossrides and how strong they are allthrough i am kagero player but i saw realy good fight with and also without the crossrides)
Well not that it means much but I did come in 3rd place at New York Qualifiers. Its was a 650+ People event so I think I do know what I am talking about.... at least a little. =p
I'm not trying to bash the game I love Cardfight. I think its the best TCG out. But if everyone has crossrides it will be the same strategy over and over again to win every fight. Already more then it is now.
(Youtube New york quilifiers on youtube I made a Vlog of the day if you need proof)
